The opening reception for Youth Art Month was held yesterday at the Randolph Arts Guild in downtown Asheboro. Student artwork will be on display throughout March. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Just a reminder, we will be celebrating Read Across America week in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday this week! We encourage all students to participate by dressing up throughout our spirit week! Below is the list of dress up days! We can't wait to see all the festive outfits to celebrate Dr. Seuss! Dress Up Day Schedule: *Monday (3/3): "Red and White Day"- Wear red and white in honor of Cat in the Hat. *Tuesday (3/4): "Thing 1 and Thing 2 Day"- Find a friend and dress as twins! *Wednesday (3/5): "Wacky Tacky/Sock Day"- Wear your wacky tacky attire and socks to celebrate The Fox in Socks and Wacky Wednesday. *Thursday (3/6): "Pajama Day"- Wear your favorite PJs in honor of "I Am Not Going to Get Up" *Friday (3/7): "Character Day"- Dress as your favorite book character (it doesn't have to be by Dr. Seuss)!

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and the Randolph County School System wants to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Career and Technical Education staff, including Career Development Coordinators and Central Services support staff. These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to prepare our students for the workforce and provide them with valuable opportunities to explore a wide variety of career paths.
