
Happy National School Social Workers Week to our very own Ms. Gilbert! We are so grateful for all that she does to support our students, staff, and families! We are blessed for her to be a part of our Level Cross team!


There will be a teacher workday on Friday, March 14 - no school for students.


The opening reception for Youth Art Month was held yesterday at the Randolph Arts Guild in downtown Asheboro. Student artwork will be on display throughout March. The exhibit is free and open to the public.


Just a reminder, we will be celebrating Read Across America week in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday this week! We encourage all students to participate by dressing up throughout our spirit week! Below is the list of dress up days! We can't wait to see all the festive outfits to celebrate Dr. Seuss!
Dress Up Day Schedule:
*Monday (3/3): "Red and White Day"- Wear red and white in honor of Cat in the Hat.
*Tuesday (3/4): "Thing 1 and Thing 2 Day"- Find a friend and dress as twins!
*Wednesday (3/5): "Wacky Tacky/Sock Day"- Wear your wacky tacky attire and socks to celebrate The Fox in Socks and Wacky Wednesday.
*Thursday (3/6): "Pajama Day"- Wear your favorite PJs in honor of "I Am Not Going to Get Up"
*Friday (3/7): "Character Day"- Dress as your favorite book character (it doesn't have to be by Dr. Seuss)!

"Leadership Reads" is a program in the Randolph County School System in which members of the Leadership Team from our central office visit elementary schools and read to students. Superintendent Dr. Stephen Gainey read to the first-grade classrooms at Level Cross Elementary today.




The Randolph County School System will operate on our regular schedule tomorrow (Friday, 2/21/25).


Our science night has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 6th. Please mark your calendars now for a night of family science fun!



2/20/25 will be a Remote Learning Day. Students should NOT report to their school’s Campus on 2/20/25.

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and the Randolph County School System wants to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Career and Technical Education staff, including Career Development Coordinators and Central Services support staff. These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to prepare our students for the workforce and provide them with valuable opportunities to explore a wide variety of career paths. Through their efforts, they not only teach and mentor but also actively collaborate with community leaders, local businesses, and industry partners to ensure our students' success.

During this month, we celebrate our school bus drivers! These individuals are dedicated to ensuring that our students get to and from school each and everyday safely! We are so grateful for them and we appreciate all that they do for us!
