Shoutout to our Go Far Running Club! 🏃♀️ 🏃♂️
Our team has been preparing for months for today's race! Over the past few months, our students have learned about fitness and the importance of taking care of themselves. They've stayed after school multiple days a week to practice running and build up their endurance. It definitely paid off today! This amazing team ran a 5k this morning in High Point!
What an amazing experience for our students, as well as their families. BIG SHOUTOUT to the teachers who have poured their heart into this team! Mr. Cecil, Mrs. Toomes, and Ms. Stout, thank you for dedicating your time and energy to teach, coach, and prepare our students! You are rockstars! Parents and families, thank you for allowing your child to participate and for joining us today to cheer them on!
Join us in congratulating our team for their hard work and dedication! Way to go, Lions! Your hard work paid off, and we couldn't be more proud of each and every one of you! 🦁

Tonight, Level Cross Elementary was excited as first graders and Mrs. Stewart’s Kindergarten/1st grade combination class took the stage for their much-anticipated musical performance of "Arf," under the expert guidance of Music Specialist Miranda Walker.
Special thanks goes to Mrs. McNeal for providing the art work for the background.

Happy Principal Appreciation Day! Today we celebrate the incredible dedication, leadership, and heart of our Principal, Mrs. Rowland. Just a reminder that this week is Autism Acceptance Week!
Autism Acceptance Week is an important time to raise awareness, promote understanding, and embrace the diversity that individuals with autism bring to our communities. It serves as a reminder that everyone, regardless of their neurodiversity, deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, and inclusion. By fostering acceptance, we can create more supportive environments that empower individuals on the autism spectrum to thrive and reach their full potential. This week is not just about recognizing autism but also about celebrating the unique strengths and contributions of autistic individuals.
Level Cross students are encouraged to celebrate with a dress-up spirit week! See the schedule below:
Monday: Team Up for Autism- Wear your favorite team jersey!
Tuesday: Be Unique- Show off your flair and wear CrAzY socks!
Wednesday: We are all unique- Wear red, blue, or an autism shirt!
Thursday: Blending Together- Unify by wearing tie-dye clothes!
Friday: Sensory Day- Be comfortable and wear your PJs to school! (School appropriate, please!)
