Thank so much for your donations for the Hurricane Relief Drive! All items (more than 4,000 lbs of donations!!!) was delivered to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Newland, NC this morning. We had two trucks and a trailer delivering supplies. They graciously accepted all items and already have plans in place to distribute the items. (Many areas that we contacted turned us away due to an over-abundance of donations. They aren't turning any away because they know this will be an ongoing problem for their community and they want all they can get for them.) They also came straight out of church and helped us unload! We will continue to collect and send items from our school for as long as necessary. Thank you again for your generosity!

Teachers’ Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of the role played by teachers all over the world. They dedicate their lives to making an impact on the way children learn and grow and turn into adults.

Happy National Custodian Day to our absolutely AMAZING custodial staff. They work so hard to make our school look wonderful!! They wear many hats and go above and beyond their normal duties to take care of students and staff. Thank you so much for all that you do!

Thank you RCSS Principals! We appreciate all you do for our students!

There is so much happening in the month of October at Tabernacle Elementary.
Please scroll through the pictures attached and mark your calendars for all the events!!

Reminder: Friday, October 4 is a teacher workday.

Tabernacle Elementary will be accepting donations for those impacted in Western North Carolina by Hurricane Helene. The amount of devastation is unimaginable. We want to do our part and help support families in need as they are facing these tough days ahead. Thank you for your support.

Thank you to our school system's community partners during the 2023-2024 school year! We could not do what we do without YOU!

Some of the Southwestern Randolph High School football players paid a visit to Tabernacle during morning drop off. They greeted our students with a smile, a high five and an occasional fist bump.
All of these young gentlemen attended Tabernacle Elementary and were able to reminisce as they strolled the halls revisiting their classrooms. It was great having them share in that Cougar Pride!
