Randleman Middle School won the football championship tonight defeating South Asheboro 33-14. The Tigers went undefeated this season. Congratulations!

Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free! Celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 28th - November 1st. Monday's feature film is Red October and we're kicking off Red Ribbon Week by wearing red. Tuesday "Remember the Tigers" and sport your favorite team attire. On Wednesday travel "Back to the Future" by wearing your clothes backward. Thursday we'll be getting "Footloose" by wearing our craziest socks. We'll finish out the week with "Freaky Friday" vibes where students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students. All outfits must follow school dress code *Hats, Pajamas, Slides, and Face Paint are not permitted

On October 15, RCSS hosted Manufacturing Day for approximately 150 8th graders from our seven middle schools. Students first visited Allen Industries in High Point to learn about signage design and manufacturing. Each school then toured a local industry—options included Bartimaeus By Design, Kaufman Trailers, Technimark, PEMMCO, and Timken. The students showed a strong interest in manufacturing, reflecting their work on Career Development Plans over the past year.

There will be an early release day on Thursday, October 24 Schools will release at 12:30 *Excludes RECHS*

Teachers’ Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of the role played by teachers all over the world. They dedicate their lives to making an impact on the way children learn and grow and turn into adults.

Congratulations to Lindy Kirkman, 5th grade teacher at Randleman Middle School who is the winner of the Thomas Tire & Automotive’s $500 Extra Mile Teacher Grant! Lindy was nominated as a special teacher who goes the “extra mile” each and every day to educate her students.

Today was the first day of the 2024-2025 school for the Randolph County School System. It was a great day!

Middle school open house was held last night for the RCSS. Here are some pictures from Northeastern Randolph Middle School, Randleman Middle School, Southeastern Randolph Middle School & Wheatmore Middle School. The first day of school is Monday, August 26, it's coming fast!
