Today, the RMS PTO would like to give a shout out Marion Moon Galloway. Mrs. Moon graduated from Berea College in 2018 and from UNCG in 2024. This is Mrs. Moon's 7th year teaching and her first year at RMS. She is our phenomenal Choir/General Music teacher.
Mrs. Moon has been married to the love of her life for 7+ years, and they have one cat named Aang. They hope to get another kitty cat sibling for Aang soon.
A fun fact about Mrs. Moon that you may not know is she has a black belt in Taekwondo!
When asked what she likes about teaching at RMS, Mrs. Moon said: "I love how many students I get to see and work with throughout the year!"
Finally, a piece of advice that Mrs. Moon has for RMS students: "You have time to figure out what you want to do with your life, but you can decide who you want to be and set goals accordingly NOW. What you do as a career is less important than who you are as a person. When you figure out the type of person you want to be, what you want to do with your life falls into place more easily. Breathe deeply and often."

Tonight, Mrs. Moon's students will "show what they know" at their Winter Concert at Randleman Elementary School in the auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm. We can't wait to hear the beautiful sounds the chorus students will share with us! Good luck to Mrs. Moon and all of her amazing students!!
