RCSS is currently offering a Community Priorities Assessment Survey. Postcards were mailed to all student homes and staff received postcards at their school. This survey is also open to the Randolph County community at large. We are asking that you please consider participating in this survey that is open until THIS Saturday, October 31.
The Randolph County School System (RCSS), in partnership with the SchoolCAMP team from NC State University, is exploring school assignment and future facility planning needs in RCSS. Your input will help identify community challenges, values and priorities that will inform recommendations for future student assignment and school facility decisions. Students, staff & community members are invited to complete the survey. Responses will be combined and summarized by SchoolCAMP staff. Please complete the survey by Saturday, October 31, 2026. Your voice matters. Help us plan for the future of RCSS!

This school year, students in all 17 elementary schools, all 6 middle schools and Eastern Randolph High School will be provided meals at no cost through the Community Eligibility Program. No free or reduced-price meal application is required for students attending these schools.
Meal prices for non-Community Eligibility schools, which includes all other high schools, are $1.25 for breakfast and $2.45 for lunch. If you believe your family would qualify for a reduced-price meal benefit, apply online at www.lunchapplication.com
If your family received a notification letter stating that all of your students are approved for meal benefits for the 2026-2027 school year, no application is required to be completed. Contact School Nutrition Services if any of your student's names are not listed on the letter.
If you have any questions about free and reduced-price meal benefits, the application process, or the Community Eligibility program, please call School Nutrition Services at 336-633-5130.
