About Me

Welcome to Tiger students and families! Let me introduce myself. This is my first year at Randleman Middle School and my 23rd year of teaching. Prior to Randleman, I taught in Pennsylvania as well as served 19 years in Davidson County Schools as both a teacher and an assistant principal.

I graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and have graduate degrees from both the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (Master in School Administration and Educational Specialist Degree) and California University of Pennsylvania (Master's of Education in Elementary Education).  I believe that reading is the cornerstone to learning, and I my hope is to build a community of critical thinkers that look beyond the written words. I am grateful to teach what I love, and I am thrilled to be a part of Tiger Nation.
